Who we are
We’re RAD Associates and though our name is a legacy of our last 30 years in business, once known as Realistic Accounting Development, now, we’re just a bunch of RADicals!
But even then, we’re people who are passionate about what we do and more than that what we hold dear. We love kids and animals of all kinds. We’re cat lovers, dog lovers and even fans of tortoises. We support charities close to our hearts because even in good fortune, we know what it’s like to have struggles.
In there, we keep the “helper” spirit. We find pride in helping others with challenging problems and finding solutions to make every day just a little easier.
Of course we mostly do that through ERP and automating business systems but saving you time has a trickle down effect to everyone in your lives.
Our Approach
Who we are impacts our approach. Though we help businesses succeed in meeting their current and future goals, we believe, just like us, it’s the people that make companies what they are.
Transparency
This makes us think of the old car salesman adage: there’s this sales component where someone’s out to get you and looking out for their interests first. That’s not who we are. Honestly, we don’t like how it makes us feel (yucky).
We found the importance of not only communicating through our engagements and afterward to keep you posted on changes but the importance of involving you in our process. Your success is our success and the only way to get there is to share openly with you so that we can achieve your goals.
Communication is key and we want to work with business that are going to communicate with us equally. Partnership is a two way street and when we partner with you we see ourselves as an extension of your operations. This is why we have clients we’ve worked with for over 20 years.
People first
We grew up listening to Dolly Parton singing about working 9 to 5. We evolved working through the 2000’s where you were expected to put everything into your output. We learned some lessons through all of it. We practice a work life balance but that means if data needs to be imported at 9pm in the evening, we’re going to get it in. It also means when our kids need us, we’re there for them regardless of the hour, just like you. We understand there’s doctor appointments, vacations and just things come up in life.
People first means we understand that ensuring we and our families are their best selves enables us to be our best selves.
We also understand we all come from different walks of life and have different ways of understanding and doing things. There’s more than one way to do a task. It’s about comfort and results. We’re here to help find what works best for you, as people.
